Do You Have Lazy Days?

November 4, 2019 3:20am CST
I wish. But yes, I do have them. I deliberately allow myself days to be lazy-- doing nothing, snacking, and ground coffee-sipping kind of days. At least for an hour or two. I gotta cook dinner before I leave for work at 6 pm. It's my wonderful season in life now that kids have grown, moved out, and only two teens in the house independently home-studying on their own. Just little supervision and making sure their tick-box of lessons and work are done and hopefully, mastered. Grand kids come and stay on Fridays-- days I don't work night shifts as 'Kitchen Attendant'. Therefore, my Lazy Days are my 'Recoup (R&R) Days' for working so hard the night before. What do you do on your Lazy Days?

We are both retired so we do have quite a few lazy days.

I have my own lazy day but it's not really a day but just some hours. When there is something very interesting for me on tv, I would declare a lazy hour or two. No one could protest because I am the boss in our home... when my wife is not here. Waheehee.

I have more relaxed days, but not totally "lazy" days. I stay at home and I only do what I feel to do.

@everwonderwhy I sit and watch TV. I would say the pretty dog in the picture is asking to be taken for a walk.

@everwonderwhy I am glad he is a gentle collie. Are you saying the dog in the picture is a Collie? What other part besides Collie is he?
