I will try to stay up as late as I can. I told Daniel to message me whether he would come tonight or not, but basically I want to know that he is safe.
I did not know that I would have to live this again during my lifetime. We had to protest during Pinochet´s time. It was the only way we could say that we did not like the state of affairs. But it was dangerous. Many people lost their lives then.
Now it should be different. We are in democracy. But none of the presidents for a long time have really listened wo what the people needed.
I know that this happens in many countries. But no citizen of any country should accept it.
I am old now and can only hope, from my safe house, that Daniel is safe wherever he is.

It's upsetting. Hope things get back to normal soon. Many countries are facing some or the other sort of issues. Daniel should be safe.

@kepweng Yes. The same thing here. Our country is also not safe for such crimes.

We are a democracy too and have elections every three years which gives us a chance to get rid of people that don't seem to be doing a good job.
