November 5th - What I'm Thankful For

Lest you think I forgot with all the writing I did today and Writer's Guild, which was good by the way, I haven't forgotten to let you know what I'm thankful for today.
We're five days into the month. Only twenty-five more days and we'll be in the last month of the year. This year has flown by.
Today, I'm particularly thankful for my word count. I made some great headway with Fresh Thread. Now that I found the problem, and got it fixed into the story, it's going well.
I'm thankful for my time in the pool this morning. It was super busy. Nine people swimming before 5:30 this morning. Despite that, I got a good workout. I find I'm competitive. I'm trying to be more aggressive and if I can keep up with the faster swimmers, it makes me happy. I found myself doing that this morning. We weren't swimming stroke for stroke, but we reached the wall at about the same time, end for end. It was a private competition. Her fast pace though had me slowing down before too long, but the fact I could keep pace with her for fifteen minutes, made me feel good.
I'm thankful for the beautiful day. Not a lot of sun, but the temps were good. It was in the 30s with a wind chill. I know for some of you that's cold. It felt good.
I'm thankful for the feedback I got on my story, Where Eagle's Soar. It lacked description in one place. Not anymore. Next month I'll start at that spot and see how it goes. I had one person tell me she loves my work.

Those are all great things to be grateful for! I am grateful the weather was nice....it was in the low 60's. Didn't need a jacket till the evening.

@MommyOfEli2013 I woke to 10 this morning and -5 wind chill. When I saw the weather report a little while ago, we were at least at 9 for a wind chill and 19 regular temps. A little warmer but not much.

@just4him Oh no, that is perfect temps for me....if it could be 50's to 60's all winter I would be so happy.
Brr, 30's sounds cold....and I am glad that the snow is sticking for you (and that it is not snowing here)

I thank the Lord every morning with my morning prayer and thank Him for another day whether rain or shine. I like the cross on your door I have a cross drawn with flowers on the wall above my PC.

Even with little things that come our way, we should be thankful. This morning as I was eating bread and sausage, I remember when I was a boy that we could not afford sausage for breakfast. Now we have several cans of sausage in the food cabinet.

proud 'f ya, ms. @just4him! goes to show that all 'f yer hard work'n determination're payin' off. yer stamina 'tis increasin'. yer prolly gonna take'er a few months from now, lol.
wonderful yer gettin' that positive feedback. 'tis nice to know yer passion 'tis 'ppreciated by others.
hmmm, that would'a been yesterday, correct? thankful fer many thingies. the bonus fer quick wit 'n not backin' down though came'n handy 'n thwarted the need fer bail funds.
