I can see a famous painter's growth

I tend to think that a painter will make a progress as time goes by. Perhaps I don't know how to appreciate the real art. I can't say I know the art. I am not professional. I just find this very funny.
The first painting was painted by Picasso when he was 16. The second one was painter by him when he was 80. I can only say what a big difference

Most painters start with realism in their early careers, I guess that's how they know that they are good already when they master subjects like light and shadow, color values etc... They later progress and follow different schools like impressionism, surrealism, cubism etc.. or develope their own style. The picture on top is an early work that's why it's realism while the later work show the path the artist has chosen, it's either what I said or the artist now has poor eyesight

@youless haha... When you are already famous you can get away with anything, you can even put your foot print and sign it and it will cost thousands of dollars
. The artist and signature is very important to collectors, buyers and art dealers.
