November 9th - What I'm Thankful for Today

Good evening. It has been a totally blessed day from beginning to end. It started this morning with L.I.F.T. where the devotion centered around Great is God in the Midst of You. He certainly is! It was wonderful to gather with women around food and fellowship and learn more amazing things about our God.
I'm thankful for clean clothes and spending time with my son. I'm thankful I didn't get lost getting to his place as I did getting to the hostess's home for L.I.F.T. Though that wasn't my fault, but Google Maps, leaving out a very important turn on the map. I don't need a reason to get lost. I can do that all by myself. This time I had help. Getting to my son's was a lot easier than I expected.
I am thankful for my books being available at Lighthouse Book Store. That's one step in the right direction as I seek out other places for my books. There are a couple more book stores for me to look into.
I am thankful for my word count for the NaNoWriMo challenge. My new book, Fashion Thread is coming along well. I am working on theories for the mayhem. It will take the rest of the story to come up with answers. I am still on track for 80K with a solid 3,067 words added today.
Now, it's time to think about my bed. Tomorrow is church and another day to celebrate God's goodness.

@just4him What a beautiful post to read. I am thankful for many things but what I've been thinking about a lot lately is that I'm thankful my dad did not die back in January when he was sick. Making me teary eyed typing this because he nearly did die. I am thankful that he is alive and from the way things are going he is recovering very well in regards to his diabetes and his foot. I hope it continues to go down a positive path.

It's in Ashwaubenon, south of Lambeau Field where the Packers play football. It's also a few blocks from where my son lives. About twenty minutes from my home.

Thank you. It was a very good day. I'm hoping it will be a good day today too. The sun won't shine, which is a good start. No sun in my eyes while driving.
