Do you believe in crystals and gemstones?

Recently I have been interested in knowing about crystals and gemstones. I have an amethyst because it's my birthstone but I never really thought that it has some certain power or effect in my health or in my life at all. I have only believed in my faith in God.
What peaked my interest though is how this crystals and gemstones connect with the universe and the more I read about them, the more I seemed to be convinced that probably, just probably it does work wonders.
I am the type of person who believes in the power of the mind. Whatever we condition our mind to do and to actually believe, can affect how we act in our daily lives. So I guess, the crystals and gemstones work, if that's how one's mind perceive it to be.

I am like you, I think that crystals and gemstones work if our mind is convinced that they work. My birthstone is also the amethyst (February), for some reasons I always thought that this stone has a negative power. I even sold the ring with that stone.

When I got the ring, I had no idea about gemstones at all. I thought they were merely accessories. So I don't seem to see its effect at all. I got my ring from Pandora.

@LadyDuck We have this belief in this country that we shouldn't get the ring from another person who had some difficulties in life when wearing the ring, because bad luck from that ring shall be pass on to the new wearer.

@toniganzon The ring was a gift of my father to my mom. She always had some sort of small problems and accidents when she wore that ring. Aging, she had problem in her hands and she gave the ring to me. Every time I wore the ring I had problems. We agreed to sell it.

I believe a little in the power of crystals and gemstones. I actually haven't tried it. But maybe they have healing powers

my sisters and i have a jewelry set with our respective gemstones but we don't wear it since it's the type that you wear for special occasions.
i like bracelets like that in the picture.

It's the healing crystal for health and prosperity and to accept the power of the crystals, it should be worn on the left wrist, but if you want to give away the power of the crystals, it should be worn on the right.
I am right-handed.

@sol_cee I watch tv but I watch Netflix, Apple TV plus, or the cable tv. What I don't watch are the local channels.

I’m Ruby and yes, I believe it has a connection.
I have an anklet before that I made, it was made of beeds and I add the my birth stone which is ruby.
The thing is Ruby is a stone of divine creativity, also it helps boosts your energy levels and promotes high self-esteem, intuition, and spiritual wisdom, it is also a good fortune, pure love, and loyalty.
And since I was born in July I co-related them. And somehow it has a connection.

I like them very much they are very pretty. I do think different stones have different effects but more I place my faith in the Lord our God Jesus.

Same here. I just saw how pretty they were and how others use them that got me so interested. I just read what each crystals and gemstones are for and how to recharge them but don't know much. I couldn't even identify one from the other except for the amethyst which is my birthstone and until now I still cannot remember what the amethyst is for.

I only use it to accessorise myself. I don't think it has any healing powers. But if it does, great..

I have said that it's actually about the power of the mind. I think it works on others because they truly believe it would and the positive attitude towards it encouraged them to believe that things would go their way and it did.

I don't collect them to depend on them brining me luck or power either. But I don't have any negative feeling towards them as well.
