November Tradition

November 2, it's that day of the year again where I go to the nearest Starbucks store, order the special holiday drink and start collecting my sticker for that special Starbucks planner and organizer.
One drink for one sticker. One has to collect 18 stickers for a choice of a planner or an organizer. And this is the tradition that I have been doing for four years now.
I think I have posted a few discussions here how addicted I am to paper planners and I love writing the traditional way. And I have actually mentioned here that I am no coffee drinker unless it's Starbucks.
So yes, this is my yearly tradition and I intend to get at least two or if I'm lucky all the four collection that Starbucks is offering this year.
Do you have a November tradition?

Writing with pen and paper is so much nicer than typing. I have tried digital journaling and digital planning with my iPad before but didn't last long for me.

@LadyDuck And I love the smell of paper and I enjoy writing with a fountain pen.

@toniganzon I take more pleasure sitting down, my pen in the hand, and writing. It is more relaxing and I like to go through the old journals and read what we did.

@Tina30219 Oh that really sucks. In this small city of ours we only have 3 Starbucks. One is 5 minute-drive away from home and the other one is 15 minute drive. The other one is located in the city center which I rarely visit.

Asian countries have this every year. Some people sell the planners they collected.

That's because of the all saint's day and a birthday. Don't you have your own personal tradition?

Cool. I use planners. I have been going BooksAMillion to get my planner. Last year I decided to get a planner for my uncle. I asked him if he liked his planner I gave him last year. He said yes, so I got him another one this year when I got mine. I didn't know Starbucks has some.

I believe Starbucks offer this to asian countries only. Last year I got a Malaysian SB planner as well. But I know there are ones from Singapore, South Korea and Japan.
I have different brands of planners from different countries like Japan, Australia, and the US and they're then type of planners that are popular among the planner community. I call myself a planner addict actually coz I collect them.

I actually don't need luck for that. I am sure as I am every year that I could get the planner from Starbucks. And I wasn't asking for your plan. I was asking for a tradition that you have.

It's usually the time when I start planning for our end-of-the-year holiday and a big book sale that takes place in December.

Even if I don't manage to get the four, I'm certain I'll be getting the two. Last year I was able to get four and one Starbucks planner from Malaysia.

I usually order my new journals as early as September. But Starbucks Philippines start their promo on November 2.
