My PayPal had more money than I thought

I saw an email in my inbox from PayPal telling me that mylot send me money. The amount was under $6 but I was still glad I got something.
When I went to PayPal to accept the money I noticed that I had $30 and change to accept. I was shocked to see that amount and wondered why it was so much. Turns out I never accepted the $25 that Swagbucks sent me last month.
I wonder if there is a time limit to accept money that someone sends you on PayPal?
I never keep a balance in my PayPal account so transferred everything to my bank account.
I should be getting another payment in three days from Lulu for a sale of one of my books. It will be another $10 and change to add to my bank account.

You might have to go into FAQ or to support to find that out.

Yeah. After I accept the money I have the option to move it to my bank account or to keep it in PayPal. I always opt for the bank transfer. And I never wait for a specific amount before transferring the money. As soon as someone pays me I transfer the money to my bank right away, unless I forget, like what happened this time around.

@LindaOHio I am not feeling fantastic emotion-wise but the paypal funds did cheer me up a little.

@hereandthere Unless I am losing my mind... my account can't be different from others, especially for those from the US like me. Linda says she doesn't have to accept anything either.

I'm happy for your sale of a book. I realized you are a self published author.

@yoalldudes Thank you! Writing and publishing books is time consuming for sure.

Thanks. Yes, I have self-published twelve books. I have one novel, one poetic tale, and the rest of my books are either poetry books, lyric books, a combination of both poetry and lyrics, or a combination of poetry, lyrics, and prose. I also put together and published two poetry anthologies, in which I have some of my poems as well.

@lovebuglena I might do this once I'm retired. I have to do some serious earning now because my daughter will soon be in college. Writing books will take some time. But I am proud of your accomplsihments.

It sure was. I usually always accept the money when someone sends it to me via PayPal. And it's usually the same day I get the PayPal email. I don't know how I forgot to do it this time around.
