Off and on I have been working on a "Kiss the cook" piece. It is small (3" x 3") but for some reason it seemed as though I have been stitching on it forever.
It ended up to be a cute little piece. Now I have to decided what to do with it. I thought about making it into a potholder or maybe a little knob hanger.
The center of each flower has an iridescent black Mill End bead stitched into it. Unfortunately you can't see them in the photo.
The pattern is from a book I found on Amazon called "A woman's world in Cross Stitch" by Joan Elliott. It has some of the most adorable cross stitch patterns.
What do you think about this piece?

@HazySue My grandmother used to do the same thing, and she had a story behind every ornament she made. It was so watching her pick an ornament from the tree and telling the story of how it came to be!

I love it! Wish I had the patience to do cross stitch. Too tedious for me.

I love it. I'd like to see it on an apron. I would hate for it to get messed up as a pot holder (food spills, etc.)
