After recently writing that I'll update my diary page more frequently I ended up leaving it nearly a fortnight before this entry. What a liar I am. I started out by missing out on some free live music and discussion at the university, a I had no bus fare to go with. I did make the next day' book club event relating to Sayaka Murath's novel Convenience Store Woman (reviewed in an earlier post), followed by some essential shopping. With my new temporary post office work starting in two days (Monday 18th November), much of the time wa taken up with preparing clothes and paperwork for going there. I got some food in from the food bank to cover me until my work wages tart up at the end of the month. I am on a very tight economy until then. I got fresh supplies of my blood pressure medication tablets from the chemists. I called in the community centre to use the computers but left my flash drive there. I won't be able to collect it back until after work on Monday. Grrr. Yesterday I got a bus travel card to cover my travel cost for my first working week. Today I relaxed with a visit to the library. Your first working day is getting closer, I hope the weather will cooperate. I am sorry for your flash drive, it's so easy to forget those small things.

I'm sorry things are so tight for you. Hopefully they will ease up when you start working. A library visit is always good.
