I have lived most of my life knowing that I have IBS. My intestine id in peace when my life is in peace. It has nothing to do with what I eat.
Now, with what is happening in my country and with the reactions of my loved ones towards what is happening, my world is shakier that if we were experiencing a mayor earthquake.
I hope this ends soon. Or, if it doesn´t, I hope that I learn how to cope.

Irritable bowel syndrome has to do more with emotions and stress than your eating and gut health. And it can really put your day off. I can just send hugs for you and prayers for your country. Hope things settle down well in time there.

@marguicha There are things that are not in our control. So try to distract yourself and relax. Do something that calms you. I generally try meditation when I am too disturbed. I don't know what works for you.

Daniel has told me that. But he is never at home to teach me and he stresses me more by not knowing where he is.

@JudyEv Of course I have told him. And he messages me when he can to tell me not to worry. But things are not good here and we want all our loved ones at home. Yet you cannot tie a 27 year old to the bed post.

@marguicha Have you told him you worry about him? Perhaps he'd be prepared to let you know where he is from time to time.

@marguicha The caffeine in tea worsen the IBS symptoms.

I have IBS as well; but fortunately as long as I eat well and not too heavily I am not bothered by it. I'm sorry that you're having a bad episode. I hope you feel better soon.

Isn't there any ailment for this problem?

I am taking some drops, but the real solution is a more peaceful life.
