I get about 1 %, if I had a lot of money it would be maybe 2-3 % If you want more you'll have to try saving in funds etc

It varies in the UK. It depends on the bank, the type of account, and (sometimes) the amount of money you have in it. The average is probably between 1% and 2.5% but there are some that pay less than 1% (some with no interest at all, perhaps depending on the amount you have in there) with others paying much higher (but they tend to be specialist accounts and some of them charge a fee to use them). Personally, I rarely get any interest on my accounts as I've hardly ever got much in them when interest day comes around!

In the US it depends on your bank and what precept you will get it. I think depending on which bank you go with it can be 1.5-3.5% when you physically save money in your account. I could be wrong there so don’t take my word on it.

It depends on the bank and the type of account it is. For example, a regular savings account here pays about what you are getting in Japan. However a money market account might get 1%. And I have an account at Ally Bank that currently pays 1.7%. I also have a couple of CDs that pay 2.75% and 2.15% respectively.

Here it is also low. I’m not sure if it’s less than 1% per annum. Saving can be good for emergency purposes.
