You may want one of these, I know I do

A friend of mine brought this home after a camping trip, and she loves it. I've used hers before myself, and I confess, I love it.
She just sent me and another friend a message about wanting another one that simply says "Jeep" on it.
What is it?
It's a silipint.
A silipint is a silicone cup, bowl, or even dog bowl that is an alternative to plastic tumblers. You can get several different types of cups.
They are $15 for the actual cup and a further $5 when you get a lid.
No, I don't get anything if you buy one of these. I just think they are cool, and thought some of you might too.

I think it's an okay price. Maybe a bit pricey. However, my friend spent about $23 or $26 on hers. She bought hers from a state park, and actually that was just the price for the cup itself and not the lid part. The lid was free only because the cashier forgot to charge her for it and it was too late when she noticed.

@thelme55 if you don't yet, I am sure it will eventually become a thing. It seems there are a lot of silicone things now. Baking pans, straws etc.

@ScribbledAdNauseum I see. I have no idea if we have that here in Germany.

My friend bought this same brand at a State Park. She spent either $23 or $26 (I forget which) and that didn't include the price of the lid. She would have paid $5.00 more than that, but the woman forgot to ring her up for the lid and it was too late by the time she found out.
I may shop around and see if I can find one for cheaper. This company has lids that lock, I am not sure if other companies would have that.

@LadyDuck That is a very good price. I've done a quick search online and I've found another type but it is collapsible and I don't really want that type. I like the lid on the silipint the most, the way it locks is neat.

@ScribbledAdNauseum I do not know if those for sale on Italian sites are from silipint, but the silicone cups cost $1.30 included the lid. If someone is just interested to have one because they like the material I think that it's a good price.

I have 3 dog bowls (for one dog) and an invention I made so that Luna would have fresh water all the time. As for me, I wish someone would accept some of the many cups and mugs I have.

Yes, we have a lot of cups, mugs and even plates and bowls here. Too many, actually.
When we had a dog, my mom bought a water bowl and put a two liter bottle of water upside down that would slowly feed into the water bowl

I have one water bottle and one coffee cup type tumbler. I think I might get myself one of the silipint's because it might help me remember to drink more water.

Nah, i think it's a somewhat fair price. A friend of mine paid a little more for hers because she got it from a State Park.

Yes, I try not to use plastic whenever possible. I actually want to replace our straws here. We do not use them often, but often enough that I think buying a metal straw or a silicone straw would be good.

@Butterfingers I wish that plastic grocery bags were outlawed as well. California is the only State I know of that has banned plastic bags.
