Book Chandelier

It all started when Katerina wrote her books and they were advertised "available on Kindle" - this would be the only way I would get to read all her books as they were not going to be released in hard copy. Since then, I have downloaded many books on my ipad Kindle App and get to read a little more regular than before. I just find that the light of the device, even when turned low, still hurts my eyes and prefer to keep a lamp on anyway while I read. I am a real romantic when it comes to reading - the story must leave me with a happy feeling. I love reading travel true-life dramas as well. Reading takes me on a journey, every time I open the book or flip the page, something new is learned. So now I am almost about to eat my hat because I once stated that I would NEVER get a kindle! Never say Never - not with today's technology and fast progressing world. Do you have a kindle? my photo is from my Birthday Party Venue and shows the BOOKS hanging from the ceiling as a Book Chandelier

I have a Kindle but I want to hold a book in my hand and use a bookmark, I am just old fashioned that way.

Ahhh the old fashioned way is always best, but for me to read Katerina's books I had to get the kindle app.

No, I do not have a kindle, the damage of the computers to my eyes is enough, I have to read paper books in the evening. I have installed the kindle reader on my computer, at least I can read those only available in Kindle on a larger screen.

@Inlemay I suffer of glaucoma, so I have very dry eyes. I have to avoid to stare at screens as much as I can. At least the books still exist printed on paper. I made a few exception, but it took forever to read a "kindle" version of a book.

@LadyDuck I understand completely - my daughter has glaucoma too - she gets terrible headaches when using any computer or device.

The reading is hard on the eyes, but the lighting must be correct - so not just off the screen

Yes, my sister gave me one of the first versions. I occasionally use it, but prefer a good old fashioned book.

That's great you're able to read her books with the Kindle. No, I don't have a Kindle. I thought about getting one, but I did some reading on my phone for something and it hurt my eyes to do so and had nothing to do with lighting, but my cataracts. I like your book chandelier.
