"Is PADLOCK a symbol of LOVE?"

When I went to a local restaurant Arca's Yard, I noticed these padlocks attached to the fences. I had checked them closely and couples' names printed on them. It seems that the restaurant allows young couples to show their profound love using these padlocks. Personally, I find it weird. During my time, the couples use the same printed clothes, bracelets, rings, etc. "Did you ever experience this kind of way of showing love to someone?" "How do you show love to your special someone?" What I reckon is that the padlock thing is nice but to take it to the extreme of wearing clothes the same would not be for me and it does not make my love any less for that said person.

@Shavkat I think its just nice just like when someone gives you a rose something like that. But I would not allow myself to be padlocked in by it all so to speak in other words not take it too seriously.

@lovinangelsinstead21 I think it is nice to give special cards. I prefer making or receiving love letters.

I agree. It does not be luxurious to be loved by others. It is not the right thing to do.

@Shavkat I have never seen that before. It is very different. To show my cat I care I buy her something she needs or a toy.

Indeed, my friend. It is not a common practice here. I am sure your cat would love these toys.

@Hannihar I think we can try to do some experiments to determine her likes.

It was like in our country. Some people believe that you can give bracelets to have a strong relationship.

@rebelann I sometimes cannot understand them. Most of the time, they are not reasonable as compared to young ones in the old generation.

They have been banned in many places, they are heavy and were causing damages. I take care every day of the person I love, this is the only way to show your love, not with rings, bracelets or padlocks.

@LadyDuck I agree. Unfortunately, some people cannot get this point of showing love.

I do agree with you. Tangible things are not the best way to show real love.

I think there is this place in Europe where it originated. They put in padlock in a bridge there to profess their love and loyalty to their partners. I think that the tradition has already spread around the world that they start to have the same tradition practiced on a place that has romantic ambiance.

This is something new. Perhaps this local restaurant practiced this tradition from this fact. If I have the chance, I will try to ask them about it. I do not have a chance to ask them because I need to attend the problem with my dear friend.

A padlock to me means "keep your nosy butt out." I use them often.

I also use them. I am laughing about this when having a meal with my friend in this restaurant.

We have those kinds of padlocks on the metal fence overlooking the Rhine river. Showing love to your love ones is caring for them, not only names on a padlock.

I agree with you. I do find it weird when seeing them in the local restaurant. The love should be shown and be shared with people close to their hearts.
