Will my son become a sponsor?

Good evening friends
I wrote that my son wanted to spend the New Year with his girlfriend, and the new news is that tickets for the two of them will be paid by her father.
Since she does not live in the same city, my son asked me to go to the city to pick up the tickets, when I told him that it required money, he said that the money was given by her father, 50 euros.
I was surprised, I didn't know what to say, though I'm not angry, he still has more money than me.

Is my son a sponsor? (It's a term in Serbia for someone who is with someone for money)

Be content with the consolation that your son has more money than you, waheehee. I understand what you mean by "sponsor" but I will not comment on that. I want you to enjoy what your son has now.

Oh, no, you didn't understand me. Her father paid for the New Year's Eve, and I said I'm not angry because her father still has more money than me.

Its OK if her father pay so let enjoy them their time and ask your son to treat her after new year party. How old is your son.

I've paid for tickets and dinners and stuff like that for my daughter to go on dates with boys. I think it's just a case of a father being generous to his daughter so that she can have a special time.

@Nevena83 Just look at it as the father being generous.
