every time I arrived in a city, the team hosting my visit would take me on a tour, I got to see some of the most amazing places on earth! This picture is of the Grand Cathedral in Milan Italy. The best part of this was on the other side of the grand plaza where the Catedral was, there was a McDonalds. Is it wrong to sip an Italian Coffee in McDonald's in Milan? asking of course, for a friend...

I was born in Milan and I had my first Communion in the "Duomo di Milano" (in this picture). For an American is perfectly normal to sip an Italian coffee at McDonald's, as for you that is the normal taste of coffee.

@MALUSE the belief that Americans don't have taste isn't very nice.

As long as there’s no Nike logo flashing on the side of the cathedral.

@DocAndersen For what I have heard, they want to ban from the center of the city everything that is not part of our culture. The day they will, I could consider going back to visit my city more often.

@LadyDuck There is a huge mall right by the cathedral, I was surpised by that. The McDonals was also out of place.

It's wonderful that you have had an amazing opportunity to travel the world. I hope to be able to do that someday. For now, I'm happy just traveling around the U.S. living in a van. This country has some amazing and beautiful landscapes. As far as sipping Italien coffee in a McDonald's in Italy, it doesn't really matter. Do what you enjoy, eat and drink what you like no matter where you are. You're living this incredible life of travel and your wondering about if its ok to sip Italian coffee in a McDonald's? That would be the last thing I would be thinking about and sharing with others if I was in Italy.

With all the countries we’ve visited, we have never entered a fast food place.

we had a host (who was from Milan) and we tormented him about the fact that the McDonalds was there. I don't even go into McDonalds in the US!

That's a beautiful cathedral. Sometimes a quick meal in a foreign country ends up being an American fast-food restaurant...I'm guessing.
