I really enjoyed the attitude of Denny's restaurant waitress Adrianna Edwards who had the misfortune of having to walk seven miles from her home in Galveston Texas to her workplace which took around two hours each way since she was saving her money to buy an auto from her salary plus tips. On Tuesday a couple that wants to keep away from the spotlight most likely learned of Adrianna challenge of walking seven miles from home to the restaurant. The couple decided to go to a local auto dealership after they finished their breakfast and purchase a 2011 Nissan Sentra for her. When the couple returned to the restaurant where Adrianna works at, they gave her the keys to her car which moved Adrianna to tears that two strangers were kind enough to lift the burden of her having to walk seven miles from her home to work and back. The reason this couple decided to not reveal their names in public is to keep away from the attention that they would get from others who think that they are loaded with money so they could give them their hard luck stories.

@Deepizzaguy ......How nice. I would hate the thought of a long walk after being on my feet for hours.

They are angels who took a weight off of the shoulder of Adrianna by getting her an auto so she can come to and from her work without dealing with the burden of taking a long walk.

@Deepizzaguy That is a long way she has to walk to her job. That was so nice that this couple did that for her. I understand why the couple wanted to remain anonymous. That was a very special thing they did for her.

@Hannihar Because if you make a big deal about it, you are trying to impress strangers.

Seven miles is a long way to walk. Not too many would be committed enough to walk that far.

That is true since it is better not to make a big deal of helping people just to make an impression to others.

@Deepizzaguy You're right. That's what the Bible says, "Don't let your left hand know, what your right hand is doing."

I also admire them since they showed compassion to Adrianna who did pay her dues by walking from her home those seven long miles from her home.

That is the good part of working in a restaurant. The employees can get huge tips from some rich people.
