I So Dislike Vertigo

I hate that feeling of vertigo when I feel like I am on a ride at the fair. Going way too fast and up and down and all around. Oh, my! It makes me dizzy and even a little nauseated at times. The entire room spins and I feel like I am on a fast-moving roller coaster going around curves and down and up very fast. If I get up sometimes I feel like I will fall and I have to steady myself for a few moments. I was given an instructional link from my doctor and I also have seen where there are some neck exercises that can be done to ease it also.
Do you ever experience vertigo?

My doctor gave me a link to a long drawn out one but, I found a quicker one that is just neck bends.

I have had it in the past, but later found out it was from my having Lyme. Not fun.

Sorry to hear it. I think it has to do with air pressure for me.

Yes, I get vertigo at times, but thankfully never as bad as you describe.

almost daily . I look back fondly to days I could think straight and walk better. It's why I can no longer get around here

I have experienced vertigo, but it has been awhile. I believe one of those five minute videos (that's the name of the company) suggested that while laying down, placing one foot on the floor helps you get over vertigo faster. I am not sure how true that is.

Not personally but I do have friends who suffer with it so I know how debilitating it is

I am having a bout of it now, thanks to some fluid behind my left ear. Not constantly, but I have to be very careful about not getting up too quickly.

I have. The last time I had it, it lasted three days. It was terrible. I'm sorry you're experiencing it.

No I don't. It's a medical condition that I heard from my friend couldn't be cured. She has one.

I'm so sorry, that's awful. I have only experienced that once and it scared me so bad.
