My Trade Off Today

I tentatively had grocery shopping on my agenda today, but with all the other things that I needed to do at home, I didn't want to go anywhere.
Later this morning I found out that my hubby wanted to go to the sporting goods store in the town next to ours. We don't have a sporting goods store here so he has to drive 28 miles to get to one.
I decided that I would ask him to stop at one store for me and pick up two things and got get whatever snacks he wanted. It wasn't out of his way and even on the same street.
He agreed and this made me happy. I went about my chores and got things pretty much caught up here. It was a nice surprise!

glad he 'twas'n the mood to go to the sportin' goods place, lol. do ya reckon ya tellin' him to get whate'er snacks he wished 'twas the clincher'n this deal? lol
surprises? no ma'am, none 'f those here today. which's good coz most'f those i get're not pleasant.

Nope because he realizes that he needs to eat better with more complications with his diabetes. He did good. I only fussed about the box of Fiddle Faddle he brought back. He will stretch is out and that will be okay.

@crazyhorseladycx He has a rude awakening when he retires because I will be watching every bite! I have been trying to get him to cut the carbs for years and explained that the carbs turn into sugar during processing and this is all BAD! We can only try. Can't make a horse drink from the trough no matter hard you try.

@DocAndersen Uh oh! Watch out or she will put you on a budget or allowance. LOL. My hubby always jokes to his friends about that. "I'll have to check with my financial advisor first!" Ha!
