Monday Is Off To A Good Start

Good morning everyone! I know it is afternoon already for some and our friends on the other side of the world it is evening. Embrace the day or night!
Breakfast done, phone calls all made for making and changing follow up appointments for my mom. Next on that list is calling the hospital.
Next on the agenda is to feed the doggies and then outdoors to the chicken coop to gather eggs and feed the girls.
Today is my mom's birthday and she was excited when I gave her a new overcoat earlier this morning to mark the occasion. She only had a jacket and a sweater with her from the belongings we rescued from her house and original hospital stay. She loved it! It will come in handy with our outings and doctor appointments. We won't have days in the 60's and 70's all winter although that would be fine by me!!

@ScribbledAdNauseum She has always preferred light jackets but she complains all the time of being cold so we are going to keep her warm this winter.

@kareng I like useful items as well. I put off things like that as well, I don't have a proper coat but I do layer up. I'm glad she now has a proper coat, she doesn't need to get the flu or cold on top of everything else.
