We have guests arriving tomorrow

Tomorrow, our friends who gave us the china cabinet when they moved back to the city will be visiting and staying for three nights. They have some business to do in town and a couple of Christmas functions to attend. On Friday night we’re asking mutual friends to come for dinner so there’ll be a dinner party for six that evening. Vince is going to make another trifle for dessert. On Friday, it is the Christmas wind-up of my writing group. Our friends leave Saturday morning and later that day, Vince’s brother and his wife will call in on their way back to Perth. They have spent the week on the coast in their caravan. If it is as hot as they say it is going to be they will stay the night and leave early next morning. It does seem like the silly season has arrived. The photo was taken in our friend's garden.

It has been quite hectic - at least in our terms. Now we're waiting on Vince's brother and his wife to arrive. They'll leave tomorrow and that should be it for a while.

Her garden was really lovely. Five acres and it was nearly all garden. I don't think the new owners realise quite how much work is involved in keeping it nice.

Love your friend’s flowers! They are so pretty! Our Florida social life is just beginning. Friends from Connecticut will be staying with us later in the season. Having a busy social life is so much fun! We are blessed to have so many wonderful friends.
