Housekeeper/Walmart.com/Blinds/computer 12/11/19

Not too much going on at the Lake Erie shore. Our little housekeeper came today. She did a less than stellar job; but I think she was in a hurry to get out and run some errands. We gave her a Christmas card with a Walmart gift card in it. She was happy to get it and immediately went to Walmart and bought her oldest son a pair of boots; so I was glad it was put to good use.
We were hoping to put up new blinds in the living room (the dogs ran into the blinds and bent them all up); but the hardware is different; so my husband will have to get to that another time.
I placed an order on Walmart.com; and it will be delivered in three shipments over the next week. I don't know how this could be financially profitable for them. They are eliminating a lot of items that can be delivered by truck; so I don't know how long we will be able to take advantage of this service, as many of the items we use on a regular basis.
Not much else going on here...just waiting not so patiently for my new computer to arrive!

I know about the new hardware for blinds, they are totally different than they used to be. A pain in the butt.
I stayed home and put the tree up, walked and I am thinking about starting to bake cookies.

@andriaperry Since that means that my husband will have to take down the old hardware and put up the new, that will mean that the blinds will stay under the bed for another 5-10 years. :-(

Cool! I love homemade cookies. Good job for putting up the tree! Yeah, they couldn't just have the same hardware so we could just slide the new blinds in!

That's nice of you to give your housekeeper a gift card. I really don't have much to do for the holidays. So I guess I am about ready. One more short story must be mailed cause I goofed and didn't get it into the batch when I mailed the others.

We have some food shopping to do to get ready for Christmas. One trip for non-perishables now and then one for perishables a couple of days before Christmas.
