As Christmas rapidly approaches with all of it's glitter and gift shopping lists my mind turns towards the "reason for the season". I love all the bright, shiny decorations and Christmas wrap but I wonder how many people think about why Christmas actually is in existence. I am the first one to admit that the bright colors and happy carols of Christmas does make one's spirits rise but I am thinking that many of us have forgotten about that baby born so long ago in that humble stable. I wish you and yours a happy, blessed holiday. Gather your family and friends and share your faith on this "oh, so special holiday".

Yes, it's so sad He gets lost among the tinsel and presents. I hope you have a wonderful and blessed Christmas with your family too as you celebrate Jesus' birthday.

I wish the same for you and yours. He does seem to take a back seat during this season.

I never forget what Christmas really means and I would like that it would be a little less "commercial" in the future.

Jesus is the reason for the season. Like you I enjoy the magic of Christmas but I never forget the true meaning of Christmas
