As Christmas rapidly approaches with all of it's glitter and gift shopping lists my mind turns towards the "reason for the season". I love all the bright, shiny decorations and Christmas wrap but I wonder how many people think about why Christmas actually is in existence.
I am the first one to admit that the bright colors and happy carols of Christmas does make one's spirits rise but I am thinking that many of us have forgotten about that baby born so long ago in that humble stable.
I wish you and yours a happy, blessed holiday. Gather your family and friends and share your faith on this "oh, so special holiday".

Jesus is the reason for the season.
