I am wishing for a cool Christmas / myLot

As I sit here in my screen room I can feel the air starting to get a little cool. I am loving it. The temp here is supposed to get down to about 50so it should be really nice. I love it cool during the holiday season. If I had my choice I would be enjoying a white Christmas. Ever since I experienced my first one when I was 16 I have been wishing for one every year. This year we will not be gift giving to each other, my hubby and I. We tend to get what we want off and on during the year. We will be sharing the day with family and friends so that will be our gift to ourselves. What will you be doing for Christmas Day?

It has snowed the past two days, now the sun is back but the temperature only 32 F, classic Christmas weather. I will cook for the two of us, enjoy our lunch and then have a nice day with my husband for Christmas Day.

I know what you mean. My husband and I give each other a couple of gifts just so we'll have something to unwrap with the kids on Christmas morning.

That is a really nice card that you've posted. My husband and I do exchange gifts, although, like yourselves, we tend to buy what we want during the year. Our gifts are mostly things that we would not buy for ourselves. Our Christmas Day plans are still up in the air. We are going to our son's house, but we are not sure exactly when, but it will be for supper and we'll stay there for a couple days. He wants Dad's help to take the bulkhead down in the kitchen as they are going to have the pot lights redone and then a new countertop installed and they will paint. That will mean that room is done and all they will have left is the family room to finish and then they will list the home and move closer to us.

Probably not for a few months though.
