Cassandra Rasmussen is one happy dog owner after she received some good news recently from officials at the Kanawha-Charleston Humane Association in Charleston West Virginia after they found that her dog Zeus who is a Pit Bull was stolen from his owner in October by an alleged friend who also stole her purse. Could you imagine the anguish of Cassandra over the fact that she not only had her purse stolen as well as her dog? The good deal is that Zeus was micro chopped which made it easier for Cassandra to receive the good news that the alleged thief was arrested in Charleston West Virginia on the robbery charges. Since Cassandra could not afford to travel 2,000 miles from Butte Montana to Charleston West Virginia since she is a single parent with two children to take care of, a volunteer group in West Virginia named Many Paws Volunteer Transport decided to take Zeus from West Virginia to Montana which donations to the group to pay for meals and a hotel to stay for the evening until they Zeus will reunite with his owner soon. Lesson to be learned is that a good way for a lost animal to be reunited with his or her owner is to be micro chipped to make it easier for a happy ending in an animal and his or her master to b reunited once again.

Gee, that was one dognapping that is controversial to find the dog 2,000 miles away. I'm sure the owner was speechless with the news about the arrest of the thief.

Cassandra was very happy that her dog had been found after missing for a few weeks. The best part os that a volunteer dog group will return her dog to her soon.

@Deepizzaguy that's really a good deed for the finders to even bring the dog to the owner. I hope the thief would land in jail.

@Alexandoy I am sure that the thief will face justice for stealing a purse as well as the dog.

Many Paws is the lifesaver of Cassandra who cannot travel from Butte to Charleston to pick up her dog. I agree with you.

Several of your discussions have been about animals finding their owners through micro-chipping.

Microchipping is a sure way to reunite lost dogs with their owners these days.
