Tania will come this evening for dinner and to bandage my toe.
I called the other possible good Samaritans. I told Claudia not to come (she dreads wounds and it is just for love that she does it. Then I call Dixie. I knew that she was making Christmas cookies with her grandchildren, but I wanted to ask her if I could wet my toe while I showered.
She said yes, but to dry it well later on. She suggested a hairdryer.
I have everything ready to make one of the appetizers that Tania prefers. And as soon as she arrives, I´ll send her to gather some apricots while I shower.
The apricots are perfect. I only need the gatherers now.

I love fresh apricots although it is very rare here and I don't remember seeing it in the supermarket. I was able to have that when we were in Singapore and in Hongkong but not here.

Here they are common but not cheap as they export them. We planted a tree at home over 20 year ago and I can give out part of my bounty.

@Alexandoy In fact, last year, my neighbor sent his gardener and got all of the last apricots from places we could not reach.

@marguicha I remember reading one of your posts about your apricot tree. It's nice to be your neighbor.

I can just imagine those juicy, ripe apricots. Will you stew them for dessert?
