Got my Door Wreath Put Up

Decided to not decorate this year. Then changed my mind. Put up my door wreath. It has lights. I plugged it in right before dark.
Snapped a photo of the wreath when it was lit up last night. It brightened my day a little.
And the candles are in the windows. They automatically come on at dark and go off at dawn.
That is it for me and decorating. We are having severe weather soon. I hope you are all having a good day.

That is a beautiful wreath..Decorating can make you feel festive. I do't have that many decorations out..but some. I had a beautiful large wreath, but it was taking up so much room I got rid of it. It wasn't lighted although I could have added lights.

Very pretty. Ours had battery operated lights; but the batteries don't last long in the cold. Stay safe!

gorgeous! i've still not put anythin' myself. the hubs's ne'er taken the lights out'ta the trees 'n rose bushes (who puts such'n rose bushes?? dangerous, lol) so perhaps we'll get 'round to pluggin' those'n. that'll most likely be 't. then 'gain, i usually don't do the tree 'til 'bout the 20th, so who knows? might get a wild hair, lol.
hope ya stayed safe, hon. got a tad breezy here 'n clouds to the north 'n east looked purty menacin' fer a bit. nothin' more'n that though.

@CarolDM yer welcome. that's what my sweet momma keeps tellin' me. that i need to jest get busy 'n put'p some decorations, such'd make me feel better. i'm still'n the fence.
so glad ya didn't get damages there 't'cher place, hon. nighttime storms 're not my fav, bad 'nough to get 'em'n broad daylight.

What a beautiful wreath! I'm glad you decided to put it up. It may be a simple decoration, but it adds loads of beauty to your home. And it made me smile seeing it too!
