Meals for over 4 days with the food in the fridge.

Today, Leticia and I checked what was in the fridge. She kneeled down and gave the food to me who placed it on the counter.
It was what I call a comando work. I cannot kneel down but I can see what to do with each found treasure. And she does not have to get up for everything.
Today we ate stuffed zucchini. Delicious and there are two more either for Daniel or for us.
There is enough veggies for an escalivada.
We found Swiss Chard, enough to make some chard creme filled pancakes.
There is now enough cooked cauliflower and broccoli to make a pudding.
And I still have part of the roasted chicken breast to serve it cold in sandwiches or to add to a salad.
Isn´t it incredible? After this, I asked Leticia to bring some milk from her house and I won´t go to the supermarket until next week.
Then I will have to go anyway because I will need ingredients for my Christmas sauces.

We also have plenty of those leftovers from the fiesta plus those given to us by friends who also celebrated their first couple of days ago. We have plenty of meat but I only crave for seafood and veggie salad now.

It is important to have veggies to make salads, but you cannot buy too much.

@florelway I place the iceberg lettuce in plastics with holes in the fridge and it lasts long. I don´t water it, just the leaves that I am going to use.

@marguicha pardon me for saying this but I have the impression that you have a high aptitude in the kitchen. You can whip up a good dish with any ingredients that you have in the fridge.
