A beautiful Christmas present for me.

I was at my aunt´s house today when she told me that she wanted to give me something if I was interested. They were some beautiful big table napkins, embroidered with my grandfather´s inicial that belonged to the trousseau that my great grandmother sent to my grandparents from Germany when they got married. Of course I wanted them! My aunt said that there had been many of them and that I could use them as dishtowels. But of course I will not use them to dry dishes. They will be kept by me as relics of a long gone past. My aunt is giving me this as a way of telling me that I´m her favorite niece too. It was a beautiful day.
