The early part of the day

I have always been an early riser. It's my favourite part of the day when everyone is still asleep and all is quiet. After I have made my breakfast and fed my pets I head to my computer to work on my online sites, no distractions, just me alone with my thoughts. I've never been a night owl like so many others. Whenever I went on a night out I was always the one falling asleep in the corner of the room at 10 pm longing to go home. I guess it kept me out of trouble!

That is how the saying goes. I am retired now and can take naps in the day so I get plenty of sleep these days.

@sprite1950 We do not have a TV set in the bedroom. When we come upstairs in our bedroom there is nothing electronic.

I seem to remember that I would lie in bed too long as a teenager. My father would get annoyed with me over it!

@JudyEv I seem to have become an early bird since I had children, probably because they were always up with the lark.

@sprite1950 I lived on a farm and was expected to do my share of the chores so sleeping in was rarely an option.

I used to do that but I am bad at it. I just can't understand the heavy US accents. You do need to be there at night thought as there are so few calls in the day. I like Why Calling best.

@AkoPinay They added a new category called Department which I thought was quite easy but I was so bad I got it taken away!

@sprite1950 I earned more from Car Wars Consolidated but my favorite category was the Inventory Discussion+. I was not good in Why Calling and the medical related calls.

That is a beautiful photo. I am not a morning person but when I want to see the sunrise, I wake up early.

It's dark and gloomy here in the UK at the moment but when the spring comes and the lighter mornings it will be pretty again.

@sprite1950 Yes, it will be pretty again. It was a nice day today as the sun was shining and it was not so cold.

I'm the opposite and prefer my quiet time late at night while the others are sound asleep!

When you get up early your thought process is better and the quality of your work is better. It is nice to get up early but everybody can't do that.

My sister is like you. She works nights at a local supermarket and finds it hard to sleep at night now after spending years sleeping in the day.

I am a night owl. Right now it's 3:15 am and I haven't been to bed yet. These late nights soon catch up to me though. I slept all weekend to catch up on the sleep I lost last week. Now I'm ready to go again.

I wish I were a morning person. I fell so sluggish for the first couple of hours. It would be awesome if I could get up early to accomplish more during the day. I've always wanted to wake up early and go to the gym before going to work or starting my day.

You would hate me! I am wide awake in the morning. I annoy people because I talk a lot from the moment I open my eyes
