Starbucks at the mall was overcrowded

Saturday I decided to see the Cats movie at my local mall. Before that I decided to go to Starbucks and use my gift card. I wanted to get some hot chocolate and a pastry.
When I got there the place was super crowded. The line to order stuff was huge. And there was a lot of people waiting to get their drinks. It seemed like there was barely any room to walk, as even the entrance was filled with people.
I did not want to subject myself to the overcrowding and a very long wait, especially since I had a movie to catch. I went to Cinnabon instead and got myself a cinnamon roll (the best!) and fresh lemonade. It was delicious and I really enjoyed it. After I was done I wanted another one. Maybe it was a good thing that Starbucks was very crowded.

As much as I love Starbucks, if I had the choice between them and Cinnabon, I would choose Cinnabon every time! In fact, I've been craving a cinnamon roll from there for the past few days!

@lovebuglena I've never had a hot chocolate from Starbucks. I think I've tried just about every other possible drink there, but never a hot chocolate. Not sure why. Maybe next time it gets cold, I'll buy one and try it out.
Sorry the cinnamon roll you got on your birthday was not as good as the other one. But other than that, did you have a nice birthday?

@moffittjc It was funny. One of the workers told the other worker to give me the best one. He pointed to a specific cinnamon roll and that's what the other worker gave me. Wonder why this was considered the best one. Certainly didn't taste like it. 
It was good but not as good.
My birthday was good. We went out for sushi in the evening with my parents, my in-laws, and hubby's brother. Not everyone had sushi though. Parents ordered me a big birthday cake, which they brought to the sushi place. They were nice enough to let us bring it in and eat it. Most of it I had to take home with me as the cake was big. Still eating it. Will probably not finish it till Sunday or even Monday.

The cinnamon roll I got on my birthday was not as good as it was a few days earlier when I had it.
And the guy supposedly gave me the best one he had. I love the hot chocolate at Starbucks. That is what I mainly go there for. That and a pastry or madeleines.

@LindaOHio I saw it on Broadway but not the original. I saw it when it came back. I liked it, however, it seemed there wasn't much of a story really. The costumes, music, and set decoration were fabulous in my opinion. Hubby wasn't a fan of the musical.

They are. I got one yesterday as well but it didn't taste as good as the one I got Saturday. I enjoyed the movie. Thought it was good. Was surprised when someone told me it got bad reviews.

@lovebuglena I'll see it when it comes on TV or is streamed. I don't know how I feel about Cats as a movie...or as a Broadway show either! lol Did you see it on Broadway too?

People are doing last minute Christmas shopping. I don't celebrate this holiday as I'm Jewish but my family gives each other presents for New Years. I have not gotten anything for anyone yet. Cannot find anything I think I should get.

well, in festivals, many malls and shops are stuffed a pool of people. Overcrowded. I would rather stay at home and have my snacks.
