The Oddest Christmas Eve

It says in the Grinch that a strange wind blew that night.. I believe a strange wind was blowing last night but I have not found the Grinch yet. I have gone through some tough Christmas Eves like the first one when my soul mate died but I always managed to pull myself together. It was not like that last night for some reason everything seemed to be not quite right. I was in the kitchen making some garlic dip and for some reason, my hand hit the glass bowl I was using against the counter and it broke neatly in two. I stood there trying to figure out how in the world that had happened. The country rat was going crazy in its cubby hole and scurrying about. I was wondering if other people besides might be affected too. I found out that the outside cats were affected. I got into bed and about 3 AM there was banging and snarling on my front porch. I realized a major catfight was going on. In all the time that I have been here not a single catfight has broken out but this Christmas it did. I looked through the window and saw a large gray cat run down the stairs. Poor old Tux the black and white one remained. He is an old cat and doesn’t need to get into major fights so I gave him some milk which he loves and went back to bed. Nope, it was not a usual Christmas Eve at all. Today went much better. I worked on my PC all day and the time just flew by. Photo of tux having his milk
