Lots of Sunshine Before the Rain

Woke up to overcast skies. Didn't expect to see the sun. Rain is headed this way, and a lot of it tonight and tomorrow.
Just now I was out filling up the bird bath and the sun came out to say hello. It is a beautiful day for now. I will enjoy the rays while I can.
The birds are chirping, feels like a spring day. Crazy weather this time of the year. But I will take a day like this any time.
The Dude watched me from the screen room fill up the bird feeder and bird bath. No sign of the little Rascal (black cat) for a few days now. That is a good thing. Brendel was inside napping already.
Laundry going and a few things to get done today. Maybe watch a few football bowl games later. Enjoy your day everyone.

Rain coming here starting tomorrow night. and going on for the next few days I think...although we aren't supposed to be getting quite as much as some of the surrounding areas.

I woke up this morning to dark, ominous clouds and an overcast sky. I've been waiting all day for the rain to arrive. So far, no luck. The dark clouds are here, but so far the skies have remained dry. If I would have known the rain was going to hold off all day, I would have made plans to do something fun. But I can't complain too much, I get to watch some pretty good college football games today!

We have had sun--and temps in the upper 70s--but we stand a 50% chance of showers/rain this evening and tomorrow. I would rather think a 50% chance of not having showers/rain!
