Uneventful Weekend

Welcome to Monday morning, hope you had a good weekend. Mine was pretty uneventful. Other than the normal cleaning, and some running around getting some errands done, I did a whole lot of nothing.
The Blackhawks won both Friday and Saturdays games, so I was happy about that. They need to go on a long winning streak to think about maybe making the playoffs but hey I'll take two wins in a row.
I started to watch the TV show Vikings again. It originally aired on The History Channel and is now on Amazon Prime. It's entertaining but not true to history at all other than some of the character names. So if you happen to watch this know that it is not historical at all. Many of the character names were not even alive at the same time in history. If you are looking for a good show that involves Norse Mythology and the Vikings it is very entertaining.

I'm glad the Blackhawks won. The Packers pulled it off too. That was luck.
I'm glad you like the show. Unless I know it's complete fantasy, I don't like historically inaccurate shows and movies. One thing I found when I started thinking about publishing was that the names of my characters weren't era authentic. I needed to make changes. I needed to make a lot of changes so it was completely era authentic, which also meant no contractions. It was worth the trouble it took to correct the manuscripts.

Yes, I hate when I go into a show and not know that it is not historically correct. This one I knew right away it was for entertainment purposes do to the character names. In no expert but I am very interested in the Norse and so I knew.

I am addicted to Vikings, its still on the history channel, Wednesday nights at 9 pm. I watch for the entertainment not the history of the era.

My weekend was pretty uneventful too. I'm not complaining especially since Christmas was so busy it totally wore me out.

was a good weekend to be lazy and relax. We all need some recovery time now and then.
