So, I have this book which is a Kindle book of course..free with Kindle Unlimited. It is called Black Rock Bay and I embarrassed how long I have been reading it. It is probably at least 6 weeks. The book is not enthralling, and I already have number 2 lined up behind it. I just feel like I have gotten this far in Blackrock I might as well finish it. I think it is about 80 percent read now. Do you ever get stuck in a book you are unwilling to give up on for whatever reason?

The synopsis of this was so good, and it had good reviews I thought it would be brilliant..Ah, no, at least not in my opinion.

Yes I do! The same as you I feel that I have to finish it just to see if it gets any better or just for the fact that I cannot give up on it. I sometimes skim pages just to get through it a little quicker but that does not always work and I end up having to go back.

Sometimes I have to resort to that even if the book is good, because if it is due and you aren't done with it, you have to.
