poverty does not lies in one place.it is problems all over the word and even in advanced country homeless peoples are there .in such a chill beggars are wandering without covering their bodies properly a woman putt off his jacket and just put it on a street beggars.this impressed me and i decided too to have clothe for one beggars minimum... please take care of all such homeless peoples and save them from chilly weather

I think the cause is noble, and certainly opportunities do not exist in your country as they do in ours, and so I have less compassion. Give a person opportunity and knowledge and they will be more apt to succeed than if you give them clothes, food, or money. But like I said, I think it is different in your country.

@porwest suppose you may loss 100 dollars on gambling and if you give you a needy person near you and let it take as fun for you soul peace............seeing him so happy on receiving 100 dollars will not a fun for you??

Being generous does bless the giver. There are many ways to give. I know that we will always have poor who need our help. Or people who need us to listen.
