Philo dough is a delicious dough that is used to make baklavas and other Middle East and Arabian treats.
Here you can buy the dough and make those dishes. But I decided to experiment in painting the dough with apricot jam and butter. It is in the oven and soon I will decide whether I´ll add more butter, some ice cream or some sugar. What do you think?

I have seen pilo dough in the grocery store, ready to prepare. Yet, I've never purchased it before. It sounds almost like a thin pie crust, yummy!

Ohhh - I think I have some in the freezer that needs to be used. I used apricot jam recently to brush on a homebaked cheesecake (but I think your apricot jam is home grown and made, right?). So did you try it yet? Happy New Year, marguicha!

The jam was too sweet so I added some butter.

OMG it looks YUMMY!! I think I'd want to have it with lashings of cream or vanilla ice-cream.

I did not make any difficult thing with it. I just painted it with apricot jam and butter and to the stove.
