Ever since I found the pilo dough in my freezer, I have been wanting to cook a more complex dish. I am now reading Greek dishes and they sound wonderful.
Dixie has told me several times that a Greek cook taught her several Greek dishes when she was young. Now I am also checking them because they seem to be not only delicious but healthy.
Have you eaten Greek food? What? Did you like it?

Although I don't often have it, we love Greek food! There are Greek restaurants here, but mainly we have gotten our Greek food from Greek festivals. I love meats with rice or pita bread with - so anything in the way of that with a yogurt cucumber dip (tzatziki) like gyros is yummy. I love stuffed grape leaves - is it dolmas - various cultures have their version of it. I have yet to make any Greek food at home

@much2say I have made moussaka. It is my only Greek dish and it is delicious. A sort of eggplant lasagna.

@Lushlala It is very similar to lasagna. The white sauce has different spices though.

Yes, I have and it is really good. I love a Greek salad and Gyros are good. Everything I ever had that was considered to be Greek is delciious. I also love a egg and lemon soup. I made it here once, and it was delciious the first day, but then the eggs congealed so I had to throw the rest out.
