I know my grandmother wants to buy me a nice present , but 100 dollars for a pair of shoes is too much!! They will only sit in the box for a special occasion!! The 6.00 shoes from Walmart are comfortable!!! There's a lot more that can be done with 100.00!!! The shoes in the pic costed 37,000 !!!! How do you tell someone you could use the cash!!?? Or Would you just let her buy the shoes and sell them??!!

Each of us has different ways of spending our money. I hardly spend in anything but groceries and doctors. But I´m still paying Leticia although she cannot work much right now.

That is why I will be sending out a suggested gift list for my birthday--I don't want/need 'things'--give me a gift card to places I go so I can get what I need! Tacky? I don't care--better than getting another thing I won't use/wear or has to be cleaned!

Gift cards are the best gift often times!! I could use a gift card to Walmart!!! I could really stretch 100 dollars there!!

Gee Whiz!!! Unless she is a millionaire, us poor folks don't need to spend that kind of money on tennis!!

I would have not let her buy the shoes, but I cannot decide for you.

That is what I be saying. I always think I can get so much more than just 1 item like the beats headphones cost almost $300. I rather buy myself a bunch of underwear and lotions from pink and Victoria secret and also feed myself. I would tell her to just give you cash instead.

Yes, if she gives it to me!! Glad someone sees how much can be done with 100 dollars!! By reading here, a good idea I've come up with is asking for 50.00 and she can still buy me shoes with the other half!!
