We have had a friend staying with us for the past week. She was part of the group of friends who stayed at Yallingup and shared the New Year celebrations. Today is her birthday and we went to Bridgetown about an hour away to attend a casual concert at The Cidery. We had lunch there.
The main artists were Lucas Drinkwater and Emily Barker. We had to smile at the thought of a 'Drinkwater' playing at a cidery. Emily grew up in Bridgetown and her main claim to fame is as the composer of the theme tunes to the TV series, ‘Wallander’, and ‘The Shadow Line’. In 2015, she wrote the soundtrack for the UK film, Hector, which is well worth watching.
Emily has played at the Music Shack on three occasions. At her last concert here, her partner, Lucas played bass. The couple were married yesterday so there were a lot of well-wishers at the Cidery today. We sat under the trees and enjoyed cider and a ploughman’s lunch, which was basically a tasting plate of cold meat, cheeses, bread, olives, sun-dried tomatoes, pickled onions and avocado. Needless to say, we won't be wanting much for dinner.

@JudyEv I understand. Such places become a paradise if the weather is pleasant

It sounds like a good time. We went on a boat tour one time, and afterwards it stopped at a winery for lunch..and it was so nice inside. I would take that trip again just to stop there. The food was good as well.

Seems like a good concert for you. And that really sounds like a big meal and a good one. You will not have much appetite left for dinner.
