I won $15

On my birthday (Dec. 24th) I love to get lotto scratch-offs for myself. I usually get three birthday scratch-offs, some cashword games, bingo, and a few others. I didn't win anything on the birthday ones (last year I did), or on a few others, but the rest gave me a total of $15 in winnings. In the end though I didn't really profit because I spend $20 on the scratch-offs. But winning $15 means I only spent $5 of my own money. And since I had fun scratching them off and playing I think it is not money wasted. Though I could've spent $5 on something else...

Sometimes it is the little wins that matter most. I'm also delighted when I won in the lotto ticket for a small amount even if the winning was not even 10% of the amount of my bets for the month.

It feels good to win, no matter how small the amount.

Usually when I got to redeem my winnings i am asked if I want cash or scratch-offs. This time the guy didn't ask me anything and just asked me how much my winnings were. When I said $15 he said ok. I guess if I had much higher winnings he wouldn't take my tickets and give me the money and I'd have to go elsewhere to cash out.

@lovebuglena when they have not much cash, that's what they do, they instruct you to the nearest outlet.

But you could win the big jackpot too! Me I go to pch.com and enter the sweeps there. You just never know if we win...hoping to win anyway! As long as you can afford it why not have fun too!

@lovebuglena Pch.com is free site and free to do all things on it. Publisher's Clearing House is a catalog type of buying, so you WILL get things in the mail. You have different options to get points then you can use points to get things. You get points by playing games and entering sweeps. All free, but you will get mailings from them. I don't buy anything, because I don't need it. I play and hope to win.

That's pretty good - the times I've gotten them I've hardly won anything. It's all in good fun - and hey, with those you never know when you could win the big jackpot - so why not! Happy belated birthday and happy new year!

I like to buy the win for life ones. I sometimes win on that one but very small amounts.

Happy belated and I always tend to buys those also. I won $40 on one like 2 weeks ago. I try not to spend a lot on them. I buy 2 or 3 like every other weekend. Hope you win big soon.

That's a pretty nice amount to win. Hopefully you spent way less than you won.

There is a special one in my family who celebrates her birthday on Dec 24 too. We never won any money but there are many blessings which are not measured in money.

Yep and in the end I only spent $5. If I go to a casino I spend way more than that.
