Social Media friend list....

While scrolling through my Facebook friends list, I realised out of the total I hardly know about 20%. As in, this percentage is actually what I can consider as friends or even acquaintances. I was shocked to analyse this. I have never actually worried about adding people or accepting requests, may be that's the reason I have such a ratio....

What do you feel??? What's your ratio...???

I have separate FB accounts for people I only met online. I do not mix relatives/classmates/co-workers with strangers.

Everyone on my Facebook is someone I know. I generally don't accept requests if I don't know the person

Ya, true. I have list of people I know, but not really know. Like once I have added them, never spoke them at all...

I have very few people I consider actual friends but I have met a lot of my social media friends in real life! I have scrolled through on occasion and realised there are quite a few that I have not met and with whom I have never had much interaction. Saying that, I have better relationships with some of my online friends than I do with people I know in real life. I tend to be quite picky about who I accept but there are some that I'll befriend if they have a number of things in common.

I have 120 friends. With most of them I was in good relationship while we were studying together or work. Now I contact maybe 5 or 6 sam people fix per month.

I used to add strangers at first. Late I got them removed, and I don't add anyone I don't know.
