I have to say the storm wasn't *that* bad in our area but we did wake up to NO electricity. It did come back on right before noon. So that was good. I called the outage in and was told that around 1400 people were out of service in our town. That is everybody! Kudos for the electric company for working so quickly.
There were several fatalities in northern Louisiana and one person in serious condition due to the storm. My prayers are with these families.
I'm going to make a run to the dollar store in town and then come home and try to make it to the next town over for some groceries. The rain is out of here for the next couple of hours at least.
Have a great day everyone! Oh, and countdown to the BSC National Championship game on Monday night. We are getting close, approximately. 30 hours away! Geaux Tigers! Who is going to be watching the game?

I'm glad your power is back on. I don't know which football games we will be watching. Now that Ohio State is out of the running, we'll be watching Pro Ball.

That storm really hit hard, I'm sorry there were fatalities in Louisiana:( Our electricity didn't go out, but it sure was windy here this morning! I'm not sure which game Jay will watch tonight.

Really sorta of comical about what I found out about the worst place hit by the tornado. Turned out belonged to a guy that was probably my first official date. We went to the Sweetheart Banquet at Church. I didn't have a date. We went to the same Church. He was rather "hot" in school and I was determined to ask him. I didn't think he would say yes. hahaha. I don't think he had his license yet, his mom drove us to the banquet. I have NO memories of the banquet at all. I guess those were some of the memories that got zapped when I was in the car accident that game me the blood clot on the brain. Turns out he is now a preacher. I did not know this! And it is hard to imagine for some reason. I'm glad that he took that route in life though.

@crazyhorseladycx Yep, I have enough scars to prove how bad this one was.
