Storms Brought Cooler Weather Today

After all the storms and rain left last night it started getting cooler. Woke up to the 30s this morning. A nice change. I like cooler better than the 70s. And no rain. No sun either, but maybe later. Enjoyed my coffee in the screen room with a light jacket and the cats too. It was nice to have things back to normal. There is a lot of standing water all around from hours of rain but I don't see any trees down. Sadly, eleven people were killed in several states yesterday, including a fire fighter, a policeman and en elderly couple. Those storms can be so dangerous. Moving on now. Hoping to see the sun later Have a good day everyone. Sharing one of my favorite Eeyore mugs with you.

We've had a couple of windy days, but not as bad as further north. Still, it is winter so what can we expect!

We usually don't get tornadoes in January. Crazy.

Nice mug I am a Pooh fan myself. Sorry to hear about the deaths. I would love to have a screened in room to go into and read and enjoy my morning coffee everyday. It snowed here last night and some today and is 20 degrees here

That is a lot of people to be killed in one day. Certainly storms can be dangerous.

Storms are too dangerous. Our country is always visited by typhoons 20 to 26 a year.

It's a shame that so many people were killed in the storms yesterday; but they were so bad in the south. 30s and dreary here too. Hopefully the sun will come out. Have a wonderful day. Hello, Eeyore!

Yes I know, and there are still reports coming out as they go through the piles of demolished homes. So very sad. Some lost everything. Eeyore makes my day.

Sad about those deaths. Always hate hearing about that sort of thing. It's just been cold here today. Some snow on the ground but not much. Ugh.
