Every morning I start my day by watching my country news. Although where I watch the news are centered in my country, I also make my own selection.
I am mostly worried by the problems in The Philippines with the volcano eruption. I have many Filipino friends here and I dread something will happen to them.
Today, in a few more minutes, I will get up to have breakfast. Then I will clean up the kitchen. See you later

@rakski If you don´t have the mask, use any cloth to cover your nostrils.

good morning. thank you for your thoughts and worries. I am praying also for my fellowmen especially those directly affected. I am 95 km away from the volcano and we experienced ashfall last night and the smell of air is still there up to now.
Please do pray for us.

Thanks for the concern about us. We are worried as well with the impending eruption but so far the latest news is that our local volcanologist have lowered the alert level from 4 to 3 which is good news to those affected. With the lowering of the alert level the danger zones were reduced from 14 to 7 kms radius. I am hoping that the volcano would finally calm down but everything is still being watched over by our local volcanologist since alert level 3 is still critical and may change any time soon.

@marguicha I know and they all have liked stopped the past few days. They can see steam coming out but no violent eruption happening as of yet. We are under a new threat of Virus infection from China. We are closely monitoring it as we are very near them and Chinese tourist are a regular visitor in our place so our focus is on that at the moment.

I hope the volcano will lower its activity. I live in a place with quakes and volcanoes and sometimes it is terrifying.

When we has the big Valdivia earthquake in 1960, I lives about 1000 kilometers from the epicenter. It was heard where I lived and later on, many people had to come and live here as they had to be evacuated or their house had been destroyed.

@marguicha It"s hard to start a new life but for safety, people should leave the affected place.

Yes, even those out of the danger zone are dealing with the ash and must protect their lungs.

There are many volcanoes in our country, so I know how it is. Volcanoes and earthquakes.
