What will happen to me? I love cucumber dip in sandwich spread. I also eat the seeds. I eat some slices after every meal I have. Is it healthy?

I've never heard that eating cucumbers is hazardous to your health. I don't eat raw cucumbers, though. I can't digest them well and have to belch for hours - a sensation that I don't particularly enjoy.

@AkoPinay - cucumber is very healthy and good for you. First off, it's delicious but very low in calories. It's also good for hydration, can aid weight loss, is packed full of antioxidants and may lower blood sugar, among others :)

@averygirl72 I know cucumbers are healthy but don't know if eating it like you do is harmful. I don't know if someone can eat "too much" of cucumbers. Maybe worth doing some research on it.

It is a vegetable, so I suppose it must be good for you in some way. I do not like cucumber so I never eat it . We did grow some once and we had to give most of them away .

I sometimes put onions if I’m in the mood for it but mostly just salt, sugar, pepper, chili, and vinegar.

I don't eat it every day but I do like cucumber. It is good for you but can give you wind, especially eating the skin. Cucumber provides small amounts of various nutrients as well as a cup (around 100g) of cucumber providing about 4% of daily vitamin C requirements. Like anything else, though, there is probably a limit where it is too much.

@averygirl72 Yes, very good for digestion. Just like most natural green foods, it may 'overload' the system!
