I could not bake, but my house is clean.

As I had no electricity, I could not bake. But Daniel told me that he would help me tomorrow. And I am so naïve that I believe him. Besides the cheesecake, I will make a batch of chocolate chip cookies, Today, as I could not do anything that used electricity, I cleaned the floors of my house and the sink and shower and rest of the artifacts in the bathroom. My friends could not come, but that was for the better because I like to heat the bread and there are some things that need my electric gadgets. Now I´ll go get one of the several coffees I could not drink. See you later.

So Daniel did not maintain his word, this is not nice at all. I hope the electricity is back today.

@LadyDuck Yesterday nobody could do anything. There was no electricity (my oven is electric) and there was no warm water. Everything is fixed now.

Since we are used to the convenience of the appliances, we become uncomfortable when there is no electricity.

@marguicha yes, it's like we are getting very dependent on electricity. When there was a strong typhoon that cut off our electricity for 2 days, I always bought ice because we are used to having a cold drink.

I hope you get your electricity back soon. I would flip if I could not get access to my desktop PC I am just so used to it I am lucky that the electricity is divided here the part where my PC is plugged in almost never has a problem. This morning I put on my tea kettle for some instant coffee and put a simple yellow cake mix into my toaster oven. I got busy online and forgot and then though why the kettle had not whistled. That side of the apartment had a break in the electricity but it was just for a short time

This one was a problem in all my neighborhood. It took hours to fix it.
