Mylot works fine in Chrome on hubby's computer but not on mine

I logged onto mylot using my hubby's laptop.
I used Chrome like I do on my laptop.
When I clicked on Notifications they automatically appeared.
There was no need to press the page down button for them to be dislayed.
When I clicked on Messages they automatically appeared as well.
I did not get a blank white screen.
If everything is fine in Chrome on his laptop but it is not on mine I am thinking that my Internet Security software is causing these issues somehow.
What setting can it possibly be that may be causing this?
Anyone have any idea?

I would be inclined to first completely remove the Chrome browser and then reinstall it. If that didn't change things, I would switch to using another browser (Firefox or Opera, for example).

It seems like it can't be a Chrome issue if it works fine in Chrome on hubby's computer but not on mine. But what setting in Chrome could be causing this?

@lovebuglena It's more likely to be something that's different between your husband's computer and yours than any setting you can change in Chrome. It could be anything - hardware, software, memory configuration, graphics handling, some difference in the registry ... whatever, it will be almost impossible to identify and even if you do cure it, you'll very likely be none the wiser.
The important thing is for you to be able to access the site normally. If you like using Chrome, the first thing I would do would be to completely remove the installation and them reinstall. As I have said, if that doesn't work, I would suggest that you install and use another browser. I use Chrome, Firefox and Opera because there are some things which don't work in one browser which work fine in another (and also because there are sites where I need to be logged in with two different accounts).

@owlwings Weird thing is that everything was working fine on mylot in Chrome on my laptop until recently. What would change all of a sudden that these issues would start?

My laptop is fine. I think it may either be some setting in my Internet Security software or perhaps in Chrome that is causing this.

So you think it has nothing to do with my Internet Security software?
