I have been thinking a lot lately about family and how we support each other. I will be turning 64 soon, and the picture you are seeing is of my 2 daughters and my grandson. I am in the background to the right. The photo was taken over the summer at a family picnic where the youngest was a year and a half and the oldest, 96.
This is my last Thursday off until May or so. I will be watching my grandson on Tuesdays and Thursdays again while my older daughter finishes up a teaching credential, and my younger daughter is in Seattle right now working on a master's in choral conducting. Since my husband and I are musicians, we take great interest in watching her career unfold.
I am thrilled for both of them!
So, just for today, I am still in my sweats--and writing and reading the day away.

@just4him She has some help and still teaches a little piano--up until about 10 years ago she taught piano several days a week and taught literacy at the local jail. She is my hero!

@bunnybon7 Thank you! They are both such great kids--When they are teens you worry so much about them--and as they grow into adulthood, you still worry, but you also learn to appreciate the people they have become.

@divalounger We've had 33 house concerts here over the last 10 or so years - most outside but a few inside. They were fun. We had all sorts of musicians but mostly folkish/bluegrass/jazz.

I'm in my PJs too but it's still early here although I see it's snowing like it promised.
Your girls are gorgeous. I'm not able to watch my upcoming grandson next fall so a friend of mine will and I can take him in rainy days maybe.

I missed the site and the people from here
